Challenge of the month · September 2026
The art of the unhurried morning
For seven mornings, make the first thirty minutes of your day belong to you—not a screen, a deadline, or anyone else’s urgency.
The invitation
Begin before the world enters.
Leave your phone outside the room. Make a warm drink, read ten pages, and write one honest page by hand. The aim is not a perfect routine. It is to notice who you are before the noise begins.
- 01
Prepare the night before. Set out your book, journal, pen, and cup.
- 02
Keep the first half-hour analogue. No feeds, inboxes, news, or notifications.
- 03
Close with one intention. Name how you want to meet the day ahead.
